This city is now well for the story of Jonah and the whale, but as Joppa was a main port and took in the cedar wood from Lebanon for the building of the Temple.

Visit the amphitheater that sits on the Mediterranean Coast

Enjoy time at the beach with opportunity to swim in the sea

Mount Carmel

This is the sight of the great showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. Ascend the lookout to view the valley of Armageddon.

Nazareth Village

In the Savior’s time it was such a small village and brought scoffing and ridicule when it was known where he was from. Nazareth Village is a museum where the Nazareth of Jesus’ day is brought to life which characters working the jobs of that day and buildings reconstructed to show how Jesus and the people of Nazareth lived.

Capernaum

This city was the base for the early part of Jesus’ ministry. Your guide will remind you of the events that took place here and will show excavations of buildings that would have been there in Jesus’ day. Capernaum was also the home of Peter, Andrew, James, John and Matthew.

Mount of Beatitudes

Sitting above the Sea of Galilee, see where the Lord Jesus taught the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7.

Magdala

This is a new place to visit as it has only been excavated within the past five years. Having found a synagogue floor, further work revealed a whole fishing village that was very active in Jesus’ time.

Mount Tabor

Ascend this mountain by taxis to see the possible site where the Transfiguration took place.

Boat Ride on Sea of Galilee

Today commences with an elderly morning boat trip on Galilee. This is where the savior calmed the storms and tested his disciples’ faith. Enjoy a short service in the boat as you float on the Sea where Jesus once walked.

Yardenit, Baptismal Site

Travelling south from Galilee we stop at the River Jordan.

There will be opportunity to hold a baptismal service here.

Beit She’an

This excavation site will show a city once occupied by the Philistines and later conquered by Kind David.

Mount Scopus

Enter Jerusalem on your coach and ascend Mount Scopus. Here we have an opportunity for a a group photograph with Jerusalem as the backdrop. Your guide will highlight the Old and New parts of the city from this spectacular vantage point.

Mount of Olives

The coach will leave you on the Mount of Olives. From here you will be able to view Old Jerusalem. You will then walk down the “Palm Sunday Walk” where Jesus stopped and wept over Jerusalem. This will lead you to the Kidron Valley where you will find the Garden of Gethsemane.

Garden of Gethsemane

We will have our morning service in this special place where Jesus prayed.

Caiaphas’ Houses

The next stop will be the place where Jesus’ was taken on the night before he was crucified. This is also where Peter would have died the Lord.

This evening we will go to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. After visiting this site, we will go through the tunnels that run along the walls and below the ground showing archeological find and overview of life at the time the Temple stood in Jerusalem.

Temple Institute

Learn about the previous temples that stood in Jerusalem.

This interactive display will take you through Temple Life.

Afterwards walk through the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem.

City of David

This is an Israeli settlement and the archaeological site which is speculated to compose the original urban core of an ancient Jerusalem. This takes you through the Pilgrims’ Pass to the Southern Steps.

Hezekiah’s Tunnel

Created in Old Testament times, you will walk through this fresh water tunnel that was a supply of fresh water to the people within the city.

Visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are exhibited.

Yad Vashem

Today you will visit the memorial to the Jewish Holocaust. Whilst it is such a sad and terrible piece of history, it is out of respect for the protection of the Jewish nation and their absolute resilience to hatred that we visit this site.

The Street of the Righteous is lines with trees planted in memory of those who gave their lives to save those who needed it during this horrific period of World War 2.
